Each of these areas should be documented in your Workbook to be used later in your Process Portfolio
Theme – Main Idea – Motif – Intention
- What is your initial Idea?
- What will the work be about? What are you trying to say? What is your intention about the work?
- Has your idea or intention changed or evolved as you have worked on your project? If so, how has your idea changed throughout the project?
Medium
- What materials will you use?
- Techniques – Processes
- How will you investigate or experiment with your chosen medium?
- What Technical Skills are you developing?
- 5-6 pages of experimentation and manipulation of the medium
- How has your idea evolved? What Changes are you making as you experiment with ideas?
Critical Investigation of Artists
- What artists have you researched for this project?
- Research at least 2 artists per project – Use the Artist Research form
- What are the cultural and historical factors that influence the artist?
- How does the artist you studied connect to your work?
Art Vocabulary
- What specific vocabulary are you using to explain your artwork, techniques, Processes, and
- Intentions – Write down the terms and definitions
Bibliography
- Make a list of all the websites you use
- Use primary Sources such as galleries or museums – Do not use Wikipedia as primary source
- Use MLA Style
